A blaze started in one of the engine rooms on the boat and has affected some of the Carnival cruise ship's electrical systems. The flame was put out and no body was hurt. No hot water, air conditioning or telephone services are available on the Carnival cruise ship. People were directed to the upper decks after the blaze, but were later admitted back to their state rooms. Cold water and cold meals are being provided. The U.S. Navy ship USS Ronald Reagan was assigned to the scene and will receive 70 tons of food and supplies that will be taken by aircraft to the cruise ship. The Carnival cruise ship will be towed to Ensenada and the the guests will go to San Diego on buses. After all the people are off the ocean liner, the ocean liner will be towed to Long Beach, CA to be fixed. Because the ship is so big it will take a lot of days to show up in Long Beach. That is why the travelers are being unloaded in Ensenada, Mexico.
